1. Definitions

To ensure this, we define “Service” as the transportation provided by Taxi 24, “User/Passenger” as the individual booking or receiving the service, and “Booking” as the reservation made via our web tools or phone line.

3. Scope of Services and Booking

Handling of Booking Data

Personal data is information that helps identify a person or a specific trip. This includes the passenger’s name, email, phone number, pickup location, and destination. We only collect this data to fulfill the transport contract. We require data specifically for:

  • • Instant Booking and Ride Estimates
  • • Airport Shuttle Pre-scheduling
  • • Nationwide Transfer Requests
  • • Customer Feedback and Support

Under no circumstances will the collected data be sold or passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.

Fixed Pricing and Payment

Prices displayed on our “Trip Estimator” are based on standard routes and current fuel/tariff rates. For long-distance transfers (e.g., Durrës to Sarandë), the price confirmed at the time of booking is fixed. Payments can be made in cash (ALL/EUR) or via supported digital methods as specified at the time of the ride.

4. Passenger Obligations and Conduct

To ensure a safe journey for all, passengers are expected to:

  • • Be present at the pickup location at the scheduled time.
  • • Refrain from smoking or consuming illegal substances inside the vehicle.
  • • Ensure all luggage fits within a standard vehicle trunk (unless a van was requested).
  • • Treat the driver and the vehicle with respect; damages to the vehicle interior may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made via our 0800 number or web portal are processed as follows:

  • • Cancellations more than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup: No charge.
  • • Late cancellations or “No-shows”: We reserve the right to charge a base fee or the full amount for pre-paid long-distance transfers.

6. Liability

Taxi 24 strives to ensure all vehicles arrive on time. However, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • • Heavy traffic or road accidents.
  • • Severe weather conditions.
  • • Unforeseen mechanical failures (a replacement vehicle will be dispatched immediately).

We strongly recommend booking airport transfers with a sufficient time buffer for flight check-ins.

7. Use of Website Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses cookies to improve your user experience (e.g., remembering your last route selection). In our cookies, no directly personal information is stored. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can deactivate this in your settings. Please note that the “Interactive Route Map” may not function correctly without cookies.

8. Rights of the Passenger

a) Right to Information

You may request that we correct inaccurate data or delete your booking history from our records, provided there is no legal retention obligation (e.g., for tax/invoice purposes).
